Get your threads, needles, projects,beading mats, and bead stashes ready and join us for our upcoming Meet and Bead.  Bettina and Lubna will have some surprises in store for you, in addition to being able to pre-register for our upcoming March Beading Classes. 
Guests and newcomers are more than welcome to join us for a relaxed and casual evening of comraderie, sharing ideas, showing us your new work and beading along with some yummy munchies and beverages on offer.

LB o J'zazz Presents: Iris Takes A Trip for KTAA at Bayt Al Sadu

Our core belief has and will always be to celebrate and maintain the socio-cultural importance and appreciation of beads within the context of handmade crafts.  Bayt Al Sadu is commemorating the cooperative of 20 years and Kuwait's 50 Years of Independence and we will be sharing our passion and experiences through the intercultural exchange of beads as a form of abstract expression in our presentation "Iris Takes A Trip".

This Tuesday February 8th KTAA members will be able to see the work of Bettina and Lubna with a focus on off loom weaving and bead embroidery through a story line by Iris our lampworked bead by the Master Lampwork Artist Leah Fairbanks.  We will also be announcing a special collaboration with Bayt Al Sadu that we are very excited about, details to follow.

 

Around the Corner

For some, our Meet and Bead evenings don't happen often enough but from where I am standing right now, it is right around the corner.  Tomorrow evening, LB o J'zazz opens its doors to all Beaders and jewelry makers.  Whether you just need inspiration, or want to meet others who love what you love, or have a beading project you want to start or continue on and would like company and a relaxing atmosphere, your more than welcome to join Lubna and I at our "Beading Zone"

I must say that this event also fuels both Lubna and I;  seeing the pieces our LB o J'zazz friends are producing is stimulating our creative juices.  So please do bring your finished pieces along if you wish to stir the group and/or get feedback.  This is all about sharing, supporting, and enjoying the processes involved in creating beauty.

Come comfortably dressed and ultra casual.  We want you to feel at home.

Chai o Gahwa (Tea and Coffee), juices, and little snacks with be made availble to you as well. See you then.
