An age old technique rediscovered N'debele
is an off loom weaving stitch that has sustained and evolved over
hundreds of years in the heart of the Zulu region in South Africa. A
bold geometric and identifiable patterning, and the committed work of
Zulu crafters has led to a revival and global recognition amongst makers
that N'debele is here to stay.
